When people discuss wedding planning, they usually enquire about the venue, the dress, number of guests and honeymoon plans.  The ceremony itself is an afterthought.  It is seen as a box to tick before getting to the ‘good part’ of the day. 

As your celebrant style Marriage Officer, my aim is to flip that script and turn your ceremony into a highlight of the day that sets the mood for the celebration that follows.  

I am a storyteller, and on your wedding day I will tell yours. From meet-cute to happily-ever-after. No cliches, no template scripts, original written just-for-you ceremonies are my jam. I offer two ceremony experiences, both designed to be meaningful, memorable, and fully legal. Whether your day is grand or intimate, both options ensure that your love story shines.

THE SIGNATURE CEREMONY is heavily personalised, custom-written, and unique to you.  Thoughtfully crafted it is delivered with intention, warmth and flair. This ceremony includes welcomes, contemporary marital wisdom, a reading and ritual/s of your choice. The legals, vow and ring exchanges are included, and your love story is woven throughout. The pronouncement, and of course, the all important kiss take place too! This is a secular service and runs about 25 to 30 minutes long @ R7 000.

Think of THE MIDI CEREMONY as the sleek little sister of the Signature Ceremony. It’s packed with meaningful moments, including a sprinkling of modern marital wisdom, vow and ring exchanges, with your story woven lightly throughout. THE kiss, and pronouncement happen too, of course.  Less personalised than the Signature Ceremony, it’s perfect for couples who want a memorable ceremony that celebrates their love and creates moments your guests will remember forever. This is a secular service of about 15 to 20 minutes @ R 6 000.
