YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED. YAY!

I am Anna. I love lists and peonies. I don't love tomatoes or mustard. I'll try most things once, except bungee jumping. I know that's not for me! Weddings, on the other hand, are definitely my jam!

We Do, Weddings was conceived when my own wedding was severely downscaled after my husband became dramatically ill just prior to our big day, and the result was FAB! Twenty of our real nearest and dearest in our garden hit the sweet spot for all who attended. 

Then, during the early days of the pandemic I saw many international couples forced to cancel their big bashes and pivot to tiny weddings and elopements. This ultimately revealed a more intimate, more heartfelt and more poignant way to tie the knot and demonstrated that tradition heavy weddings do not need to be the norm. Let's be honest, the success of an actual union is not dictated by the style or flash of your wedding day.  Anyhoo, South Africa had just not filled the gap between registry office and extravaganza, until now!

Not every couple likes being the centre of attention. Not every couple has the funds or sees the value in a huge wedding party. Not every couple loves the wedding traditions that we have been marketed into believing are vital.  However, most couples do want to mark the occasion with respect, beauty and fun. We make that happen with wedding packages that celebrates our couples’ love in a way that is uniquely theirs.

Polly, our vintage camper, is the backbone of our mobile wedding service. She’s a guest at all Big Easy weddings, acting as ceremony altar, cake and bubbles bar and fab photo backdrop!  Little Easy mini-monies are hosted in my lush Sandton garden, or conducted off-site a venue of your choice.

And as a Marriage Officer I will travel for love to the venue you have chosen.

I specialise in curating elopements, mini and micro weddings that focus on commitment without sacrificing the aesthetic beauty of your big day. And as a Marriage officer I focus on telling YOUR love story from meet-cute to happily-ever after!

My professional background is in the creative arts: teaching, marketing, events, interior design and styling. I have five children, loads of life experience and I love helping couples hitch in the way that is right for them.
